Shahed Abu Jwaied is an accomplished professional, and social entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in humanitarian work, development, and strategic operations. As the Strategic Operations Manager for Talent Beyond Borders, Shahed brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of driving impactful change across diverse regions.

A citizen of both New Zealand and Jordan, Shahed holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights with honors and is certified in International Humanitarian Law, Training of Trainers (TOT), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Her international experience spans seven countries, including extensive work in the Pacific and MENA regions, reflecting her ability to navigate and influence complex global environments.

Shahed’s career includes significant contributions to international NGOs and the private sector, where she has held various management roles and consistently delivered strategic solutions and advanced development initiatives. Recognized as one of New Zealand’s most influential women in the global category, Shahed is also a board member for a college of humanities and social sciences at a respected university, underscoring her commitment to academic and community development.
